Bike Course: 22.4 Miles - new in 2010

• Exit the transition area parking lot of Lake Catamount (near the boat ramp), going right on CR18/Pleasant View
• Left on 131 toward Huspeth/County Road 14
• Right on Huspeth/CR 14
• Bear right on CR 14 (this is the start of  CR 35 and CR 14, a total of 3.9 miles from the transition area.)
• Turn left on River Road and CR 14
• Right on River Road – a beautiful stretch of road – until the turnaround at Howelsen Lodge parking lot, approximately 1/4 mile past 5th Street.
• Mile markers for reference: Transition area to Tree Haus crossing 9.0 miles, TA to Howelsen Ice Arena 10.8 miles, TA to beginning of Howelsen Lodge parking lot 11.2 miles

There are no major hills on this beautifully scenic route, which features riding along the Yampa River, and offering spectacular looks at the mountains that grace the area. There will be 2 Aid Stations along the way, as well as Police and Course Marshals.  USAT rules will apply.
